Wow. I'm glad that's over. With the new baby in the house, continuous sleep has been very hard to come by. Last night was no different. Other kids were sick during the night as well. I just wanted to get these base miles in, even if they were slow.

Feeling a lot of soreness. Trying to work out the lactic acid, but man that was brutal.

Also doesn't help that it was snowing while I was running.

With the new baby and all, I'm surprised you're getting in any miles. My race is tomorrow. I strained my calf on my very first easy run of my taper a week and a half ago. I'm hoping it holds up for 26.2.

Oh man, that sucks. In 2012 I felt some runners knee setting in on my last long run before St George. It held up, but I was much slower than I wanted to be and it was pretty painful.

You going to get it treated? I hope that it holds up. What time are you shooting for?

I have it KT taped up as good as possible. Aside from that, the only treatment it needs is rest. All my training pointed to 3 hours, but I haven't run for almost 2 weeks now. I guess I'll get started tomorrow and see how I feel. If it feels decent, I may still shoot for 3 hours.
